Sports Digest : Biola Changes Coaches

Biola University has announced two coaching changes. Gerald Masterson, a member of the NAIA Hall of Fame in track and field, has been appointed track and cross-country coach, replacing Colin McDougall, who has retired. The school is also searching for a replacement for women’s volleyball coach Joy Heritage, who resigned to become women’s athletic director at Glassboro State College in New Jersey.

Bellflower Bobby Sox Win

Bellflower’s Bobby Sox all-star softball team won the District 66 American Girl’s Division championship by defeating the La Puente all-stars, 7-0. The Cerritos-Artesia-Norwalk team finished second in the District 65 tournament.
