A North Hollywood man was killed in an accident on the Hollywood Freeway that caused widespread traffic jams. Jose Castillo, 27, was killed at 3:06 p.m. when he tried to change lanes and his car veered to avoid another car, skidded across four lanes and crashed into the center divider. The crash caused congestion on the northbound Hollywood Freeway and Harbor and Pasadena freeways, as thousands were leaving Dodger Stadium after a game.
