Coronado Man, 25, Dies of Stab Wounds

A 25-year-old man was stabbed to death Saturday during an apparent robbery in Logan Heights, police said.
Police found Nicholas Hewitt of Coronado slumped over the wheel of his 1981 Toyota shortly after 10 p.m. at 31st Street and Island Avenue.
Hewitt was taken to UCSD Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead about 40 minutes later.
The slaying is under investigation.
