Profile Series Begins Today
The Southeast and Long Beach sections begin a new feature on the Digest page today. Each of the 25 cities that make up our coverage area will be the subject of a Community Profile. Using maps, photographs, statistics and historical data, the profiles will bring together information about each city in an easy-to-read package, suitable for saving.
Each Community Profile will include names and telephone numbers of key elected officials and government services, statistics and a map painting a current portrait of each city. The feature will also include a Focus section that homes in on what makes each city special.
A look at the city of Whittier with a Focus on its Quaker heritage begins the series on Page 2.
