Cerritos : District Budget hearing
The ABC Unified School District board has scheduled a public hearing for 9 a.m. Saturday to consider cutting $2.2 million from the 1986-87 budget.
The board approved a tentative budget of $78 million in June, but it requested that district staff come up with plans for program cuts to balance the budget without using nearly $3 million in lottery funds.
No decision has been made on what programs would be affected.
