Actors Peck, Douglas to Give Eulogies at Minnelli Funeral

Actors Kirk Douglas and Gregory Peck will deliver eulogies at funeral services at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday for veteran film director Vincente Minnelli. They will speak at Wee Kirk o’ the Heather Chapel, Forest Lawn, Glendale.

Pallbearers for Minnelli, who died Friday at age 83, will be James Stewart, Kenny Rogers, Frederick de Cordova, Jack Haley Jr., Henry Mancini, Ricardo Montalban and Douglas and Peck.

Honorary pallbearers for Minnelli, who won an Oscar for “Gigi,� include Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, Robert Stack and Charlton Heston.

Minnelli’s wife, Lee, and daughter, Liza, are asking for contributions to a Vincente Minnelli cancer research fund at Childrens Hospital of Los Angeles, P.O. Box 54700, Los Angeles, 90054.
