Gil Fuentes of Newport Beach was named president and chief executive of Camino Real Savings Bank. Fuentes, 54, a former chief financial officer at Columbia Savings & Loan Assn., headed PNA Investment Corp. for the last year. He is replacing Edward N. Jones, 49, of Burbank who became an adviser to Mervyn A. Phelan, 45, of Capistrano Beach. Phelan is the real estate developer who bought Camino Real last year. The thrift, based in San Fernando, is seeking regulatory approval to move its headquarters to Orange.
