Accompanied by his mother, a 16-year-old gang member accused in the shooting death of a teen-age girl in Bell Gardens surrendered to police. Albert Gonzales is accused in the shooting death of Autumn Aparicio, 15, a runaway from Monterey Park. Police said he opened fire on a group of rival gang members, killing Aparicio and wounding Sonya Ortiz, 13, of East Los Angeles in the back.
