A man believed to have been in his 20s was found dead Tuesday morning in the 400 block of 29th Street.
San Diego police found the body after responding to reports of gunshots near 29th and K streets shortly after 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sgt. Dave Jones said.
The victim, who remains unidentified, died of gunshot wounds to the upper body, Jones said. A weapon was recovered at the scene, but police have no suspects in the case.
