Montes Squares Off Against Lehman on Irvine Boxing Card
Tickets in all price categories are available for the boxing card tonight at the Irvine Marriott Hotel, featuring lightweights John Montes of Whittier and Ricky Lehman of Tucson in the main event.
Montes (29-4) has already fought such notables as Hector Camacho, Hilmer Kinty and Pernell Whitaker. Lehman enters the match with a 17-4 record.
On the undercard, Lee Sentinella of Westminster will meet Zack Boldan of North Hollywood in a six-round bout and Greg Puente of El Monte will meet Alex Vega of Los Angeles in another six-round bout.
Also, Troy Weaver, younger brother of former heavyweight champion Mike Weaver, will meet Henry Johnson of Los Angeles in a four-round light-heavyweight contest.
Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. in the hotel ballroom. The first fight will begin at 7:30 p.m.
