Missile-firing Iranian warplanes hit two oil tankers anchored in United Arab Emirates waters, previously considered safe from Persian Gulf War attacks, marine salvage executives reported. The two ships--the Cypriot-registered Superior and the Liberian-registered Koriana--were about 10 miles off the emirate of Dubai, awaiting repairs for damages from previous war attacks incurred during the past month. At least four crew members were reported injured in the latest attacks.
