Disagreement on Pornography

The Times has interviewed L. P. Smith in the past and in his letters, too, he has always been “open” and “up front” regarding his negativism toward God and any religious faith. Letters (June 19) reveals another side--his support and approval of hard-core, X-rated porno films.
On the basis of a Maine referendum, apparently he feels that he and his porno friends are the majority. I beg to disagree with Smith, inasmuch as we do have a president in the White House who is anti-porno, and he was voted into office overwhelmingly.
How can pornography be anything but satanic?
