Santa Fe Springs : Redevelopment Hearing
A public hearing on the proposed Washington Boulevard redevelopment project will be at 7 tonight at City Hall.
The project is to revitalize the deteriorating Washington Boulevard corridor--one of the most heavily traveled in the city--by focusing on three key areas, including the Whittier Downs Mall. By sprucing up certain commercial areas along the strip, city officials say, the hope is that it will act as a catalyst for further development in the area.
