Cyanide has been found in an over-the-counter capsule medication other than Extra-Strength Excedrin in the Seattle area, the Food and Drug Administration said. Police Officer Bob Karnofski of the Seattle suburb of Auburn said officials were warning consumers not to take any over-the-counter medications sold in capsule form. Karnofski said the medication, which was not immediately identified, was found in an Auburn store. Meanwhile, an FBI analysis of two previously unopened bottles of Extra-Strength Excedrin showed they contained cyanide-laced capsules similar to those that killed two Seattle-area people this month, a federal official confirmed.
