Probe Set in Miswiring at Palo Verde A-Plant

PHOENIX — Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station officials said Tuesday that they will investigate the miswiring of three fire alarm control panels in the unfinished Unit 3 reactor.
“There is suspicion of tampering,” said Don Andrews, spokesman for the Arizona Nuclear Power Project, which operates Palo Verde. But he said the panels may have beem miswired at the factory or at the site before installation.
