Addition to Casino Opens at Tahoe Hotel

Harvey’s Resort Hotel/Casino has opened an additional 24,000 square feet of casino space in its efforts to become the largest gaming resort in the Lake Tahoe area.

This month, 376 new hotel rooms and a new lobby are scheduled to open.

When all phases are completed in October, the new $100-million, 18-story tower will contain 546 rooms, bringing the total to 740; 15,000 square feet of new meeting rooms and convention space; an additional 40,000 square feet of casino and gaming activities; a 1,000-seat convention banquet room, and a 300-seat cabaret theater.
