The founder of a children’s anti-crime group was sentenced in a Merced court to six years in prison for child molesting. Terry Allen Harris, 20, had pleaded no contest to three counts of molesting boys under 14. Harris founded a group called Kids Against Crime, was a reserve officer with the Livingston and Dos Palos police departments and had been active in Explorer Scout units with the Merced police and county sheriff’s offices.
