A woman who had been listed as missing since the May 30 crash of a tour bus near Bridgeport, Calif., has been positively identified as the 21st fatality in the accident. The Mono County Sheriff’s Department identified the woman as Meryle Ruth Martin, 68, of Venice. Her body was found in the Walker River on June 9, but a positive identification could not be made until dental charts were obtained. Of the 21 people injured in the accident in the Walker River Canyon, eight remain hospitalized in Reno, Carson City, Nev., and Southern California.
