Drugs were found in the blood of a man shot to death by Glendale police who mistook the television remote-control device he was pointing at passing cars for a gun, the coroner’s office said. “Toxicological reports indicate the presence of cocaine and PCP,” coroner’s spokesman Bill Gold said. “Test reports for LSD are still pending.” Javier Alvarado Gonzales, 22, reportedly took cocaine and the hallucinogenic drugs LSD and PCP before the June 1 shooting. Gonzales was shot several times after he refused to drop the device, which police mistook for a gun, officials said. The shooting occurred at Elk and Pacific avenues.
