NEW YORK — Avery Fisher Career Grants recently were awarded to Joshua Bell, violinist; Matt Haimovitz, cellist, and Ken Noda, pianist.
The grants are designed to “give recognition to talented young instrumentalists on the threshold of major careers.” Each winner receives $10,000.
