Bohannon Scores 2 Grasscourt Victories

SANTA BARBARA — Dave Bohannon of Garden Grove won singles and doubles victories Sunday in the men’s National 40s Grasscourt Tennis Championships.
Bohannon defeated Charles Hoeveler of Ross, Calif., 6-4, 6-4, in the singles final at Montecito Country Club.
He also claimed a share of the doubles title, teaming with Dennis Trout of Corona del Mar in a 6-2, 3-6, 6-4 victory over Terry Ehlers of San Juan Capistrano and Gil Howard of Daly City, Calif.
