Willie de Wit outpunched Ken Lakusta at Edmonton, Canada, to win the Canadian heavyweight boxing title Saturday night in a fight that left both fighters bloody and battered.
De Wit, of Grande Prairie, Alberta, earned a unanimous 12-round decision over Lakusta, of Edmonton.
