A Times news article (May 31), “Building Owner Fined $6,000 Before Fatal Fire,” named Mark Schulman as the building owner. I am not that Mark Schulman.
My name is Mark S. Schulman. I have lived in Los Angeles County for more than 50 years and have owned my own business. I am involved with many community and philanthropic organizations and have been for many years. I have never owned apartment buildings in Los Angeles or anywhere in the 50 years I have been in business in Southern California.
