In Support of Peace

Regarding Miv Schaaf’s “A Note From the Heart to Gorbachev” (May 22), I agree with her wholeheartedly.

This year I’ll be 70 years old. For as long as I can remember I have been taught to hate the Russians. Why, I don’t know.

From what I observe, read and hear they don’t seem to be doing anything more than many other countries around the world. Of course, the “others” are doing it in the “name of God” and that makes it all right. Ha.
