NBA DRAFT TO AIR LIVE OVER WTBS
SuperStation WTBS (cable) will provide live coverge of the 1986 National Basketball Assn. draft on Tuesday from 10:05 a.m.-12:05 p.m., when top college players from around the country are selected for play in the NBA. The station also will air a halfhour recap of the draft that night at 8:20.
The live coverage will originate from NBA draft headquarters in the Felt Forum of New York City’s Madison Square Garden. Hosting the event will be Bob Neal of TBS Sports and John Thompson, head basketball coach at Georgetown University.
