Election Post-Mortems
What cheap shots! State Sen. Ed Davis’ crack that “if you can buy advertising you can sell almost anything in America” and Supervisor Mike Antonovich’s snide “we have an election . . . colored by outside money.” (Times, June 5).
Rep. Ed Zschau’s campaign was funded by many, many small contributions ($1,000 maximum), and let these sore losers not forget contributing is a form of voting.
Their comments were as churlish as Bruce Herschensohn’s gracious concession speech was gallant and noble.
