A man was shot in the head early Tuesday while driving along Harbor Boulevard and suffered a “minor wound,” a Santa Ana police spokesman said.
“Two guys drove up beside him and fired at him,” the spokesman said.
The attackers fired a shot through the victim’s open left window. The bullet passed through his baseball cap and creased the top of his skull.
The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to Garden Grove Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
Police had no description of the suspects or their vehicle, or any apparent motive for the shooting, the spokesman said.
