Gate-Guarded Houses Open in Camarillo
Morningstar Canyon, a 64-unit, adult-oriented single-family home development by Oceanic California Inc., opens today in The Springs, a gate-guarded, master-planned development in Camarillo.
The first phase consists of 40 two-bedroom, two-bath houses in four floor plans with 1,294 to 1,673 square feet of living area, priced from $138,000 to $170,000.
The monthly homeowners association fee is $80 and first move-ins are scheduled for October. Thirty-six units were reserved before today’s grand opening.
Features include bonus rooms for hobbies or home offices, vaulted ceilings, wood-burning fireplaces, Mediterranean exteriors with tile roofs, two-car garages with automatic openers and breakfast bars. Some plans include greenhouse windows.
Four furnished models are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at 6369 San Como Lane, reached from the Camarillo Springs Road exit of the Ventura (101) Freeway.
