Three University of Hawaii football players have ben put on school probation and suspended from games for the 1986 season for their part in a campus break-in.

Quarterback Warren Jones and Eric Green and wide receiver James Collins will be allowed to practice with the team and will retain their scholarships, according to Athletic Director Stan Sheriff.

The players were arrested and booked for investigation of second-degree burglary after an early-morning break-in at the Hawaii athletic department’s equipment room April 10. They never were charged.
