Tourists and Terrorists
Just can’t help adding my bit to the letters coming in to you. Europe right now is wonderful! Airplanes are not crowded and service is gracious. Everywhere you travel--and our early May itinerary took us to Germany, Belgium and France--the people were friendly.
All places of interest were open and uncrowded, and there were no rows of tour buses pouring out multitudes.
Hotels and restaurants make you feel welcome--and besides, it is green and lovely, with flowers in profusion. Reverse the old adage, everyone--don’t cancel, reinstate your plans if you have had doubts, and go East!
