Ingrid Kristiansen of Norway beat Olympic marathon champion Joan Benoit Samuelson by more than a minute to win the L’eggs Mini Marathon at New York.
Kristiansen was timed in 31 minutes 45 seconds for the 10,000-meter race through Central Park. Samuelson was clocked in 33:03.
