MAI Basic Four Reports Quarter Net of $4.1 Million
MAI Basic Four Inc. reported fiscal 1986 second-quarter net income of $4.1 million, compared with a loss of $1 million for the two months of operating results reported for the second quarter of its fiscal 1985. Revenue for the period ended March 31 was $70.8 million, compared with $38.3 million for the two months of the corresponding quarter of fiscal 1985.
For the first half of 1986, net income was $7.4 million on revenue of $135.9 million.
MAI conducted no substantial business operations before Jan. 30, 1985.
The company designs, manufactures and markets business computers and information processing systems primarily for use by small and medium-sized businesses. It also provides maintenance and related services internationally, predominately for products sold by foreign subsidiaries.
