TeleQuest Profits Rise in First-Quarter Report
TeleQuest said its first-quarter profit rose to $9,000, from $4,000 a year earlier, on a revenue increase of 164%, to $4.1 million.
The Burbank company, which makes designer telephones and is planning to move to San Diego next month, said its revenue and earnings generally are the lowest in its first three months of the year because of seasonal factors. The earnings report is TeleQuest’s first since it grossed $10.8 million in its initial public stock offering on March 27.
