Staffers at the Wildlife Way Station in Little Tujunga Canyon said a mountain lion cub stolen from the facility two months ago will be returned today. The 7-month-old lion was found four weeks ago by the Arizona Game and Fish Department, station spokeswoman Judy Williams said. “It appears the mountain lion was involved in a possible drug transaction, and as this is all still under investigation, this is all they’re telling me,†Williams said. The lion was found after an Arizona resident saw it in captivity and reported it to authorities, Williams said. The lion was stolen from its cage March 6.
