Staffers at the Wildlife Way Station in Little Tujunga Canyon said a mountain lion cub stolen from the facility two months ago will be returned today. The 7-month-old lion was found four weeks ago by the Arizona Game and Fish Department, station spokeswoman Judy Williams said. “It appears the mountain lion was involved in a possible drug transaction, and as this is all still under investigation, this is all they’re telling me,� Williams said. The lion was found after an Arizona resident saw it in captivity and reported it to authorities, Williams said. The lion was stolen from its cage March 6.
