Hearing on School Health Clinic Set
A task force studying a proposal to establish a health clinic at a San Diego high school will hold a public hearing at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Kearny High School.
The clinic would dispense contraceptives and provide pregnancy counseling along with routine medical services.
Persons who wish to speak at the meeting must:
- Call 293-8031 to reserve a place on the agenda.
- Deliver a written copy of remarks to the task force chairman at the meeting.
- Speak for no more than five minutes. Speaking time may be further reduced if a large number of people ask to speak.
The task force, which was created by a 3-2 vote of the Board of Education in March, will issue its recommendation by July 1.
