Calculated Risk by U.S.
How fortunate we are to have a President who takes responsibility for the welfare of our country and acts. President Reagan ordered the bombing of Libya and showed the world that terrorists are not making us run scared--we act when it is necessary.
I am very proud of the United States going it alone. We did not make any agreements to appease the terrorists countries. We did not supply terrorists with arms, ammunition and training as the Soviet Union has done.
Our young people may now be proud of the United States--proud to live in a country where the President tries to protect his people, though the action is not pleasant. A President who works to defend democracy and lets us know we have to give of ourselves sometimes in its defense.
