Power Failure Strands 200 Amusement Park Riders

WARWICK, R.I. — Officials at an amusement park on Monday checked electrical works following an outage that cut power to 31 rides and briefly stranded 200 people. No injuries were reported and most patrons at Rocky Point Park were freed from rides within 20 minutes, the park manager said.
