A Coach Praises One of His Own

As a high school basketball coach, I felt obligated to write this letter. Admittedly, he never won the NCAA, but he did win the conference. He was not able to keep all his players happy (so who can?). But if I had a son, there is no coach I would rather have him play for than former USC Coach Stan Morrison.

I was very disappointed that he has left the profession. Perhaps there is a college somewhere that would like to hire a basketball coach that knows the game, is an excellent teacher of the game, and is a man of integrity. But you never know.
