Judy Carne Gets Three Months on Drug Counts

NORTHAMPTON, England — Actress Judy Carne has been given a three-month jail sentence by the Northampton Crown Court for illegal possession of drugs, court officials said today.
Carne, 46, who starred in the “Laugh-in” show in the 1960s, had to be helped from the dock after sentencing. The ex-wife of actor Burt Reynolds admitted possession of cocaine worth $280 and 880 milligrams of amphetamines at her Northamptonshire home.
