Countywide : Voter Registration Ends May 5 for June Primary
May 5 is the last day to register to vote in the June 3 primary, according to Registrar of Voters Al Olson. In order to register, a person must be a resident of California, a U.S. citizen and at least 18 years old.
Residents who have changed address or who are unregistered can go to the Registrar of Voters office, 1300-C South Grand Ave., Santa Ana, or they can call 834-2244 and request a card to register by mail.
Postcard registration is also available at most city halls, public libraries and post offices, according to Olson. In addition, deputy registrars will be stationed at various shopping centers, supermarkets and police departments May 3 to May 5. Olson’s office also has a telecommunications device for the deaf, which can be reached by dialing 834-3413.
