Daewoo agreed to acquire control of Zymos.
The South Korean conglomerate said it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a controlling interest in the Sunnyvale-based semiconductor manufacturer for undisclosed terms. “Our investment in Zymos will strengthen its financial condition and position the American company for growth as both a designer and manufacturer of application-specific integrated circuits,” a Daewoo spokesman said.
