Rolish Leads Servite Past El Dorado

Jason Rolish went 2 for 3 with a solo home run Monday to lead Servite High School to a 4-0 win over El Dorado in a nonleague game on the Friars’ field at Anaheim. Pitchers Eric Matillo, Todd Cook, Craig Barkley and James Ferguson combined on a five-hitter for Servite (11-5). The Golden Hawks are 13-6.

In other nonleague action:

Dana Hills 5, Carson 0--Jim Reiley, Craig Ridrigue, Tim Jennings and Bryan Hatch combined on a three-hitter to lead the Dolphins past the Colts at Dana Hills High. Greg Erickson went 2 for 3 with a double, two runs scored and two stolen bases for the Dolphins (10-7-1).

Capistrano Valley 7, Mater Dei 4--Rob Sheehan went 2 for 4 with two RBIs and held Mater Dei to five hits to get his first win of the season in a rescheduled game at Mater Dei. Tommy Adams and Chris Ashbach had two hits each for the Cougars (12-6).
