Culver City : Lifeguards, Teachers Sought

The city’s Department of Human Services is accepting applications for the positions of pool coordinator/manager, lifeguard/swim instructor, locker attendant and cashier at the Culver City Pool.
Applicants for the pool coordinator job must have at least one year of lifeguard and/or swim instructor experience. Applicants for the lifeguard position, which would include teaching Red Cross swim classes and organizing aquatic events, must hold a current water safety instruction certificate. Both jobs require certificates in current cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aid.
Full- and part-time positions will be available beginning in late May and continuing through September. Applications are available at the city’s recreation office, 4117 Overland Ave.
