EDY THE ETERNAL
In response to the controversy concerning the eternal starlet, Edy Williams: the only reason I watch the early arrivals at the Oscars each year is to see Edy Williams. She is one of a kind, a true survivor of Hollywood glamour. She is smart and experienced and has a fabulous face and body.
I first saw Edy at a UCLA pep rally in 1973. I know of Edy’s career since being Miss California Bikini through the ‘70s to “Beyond the Valley of the Dolls” and, more recently, “Lady Lust.”
I only wish Edy love and good luck and hope she continues to work and be a part of the fun and flash of Oscar night.
