CARRYING A TORCH
Ron Smith’s Celebrity Look-a-Likes company is looking for alluring, feminine and attractive men or women to portray which celeb:
A. Joan Collins
B. Marilyn Monroe
C. The Statue of Liberty?
And the surprise answer is . . . C.
The contest, which will reach 15 cities, takes off here April 29.
“We need help,” Smith admitted. “The response has been very minimal because I think people are unsure of what she looks like.”
Entrees will be judged on physical appearance and wardrobe, wearing a toga or similar dress--and they’re urged to be as “creative” as possible. A winner will be picked in each city, with a national finalist being offered a contract with Smith’s organization.
