The body of an unidentified woman was found Thursday morning in a vacant house on the Viejas Indian reservation. Sheriff’s deputies have labeled the woman’s death a homicide.
Local residents discovered the 25- to 30-year-old, brown-haired woman, a spokesman for the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department said.
The woman’s feet had been bound and she had serious head injuries, but the exact cause of death had not been determined by Thursday night. The body was fully clothed, the spokesman said.
An investigation is continuing.
