Showtime/The Movie Channel signed a deal.
The company, owned by Viacom International, has obtained exclusive pay-TV rights to 30 or more motion pictures from the Atlantic Entertainment Group in a deal worth at least $50 million over three years, according to one source close to the transaction. Included are films and projects such as “Extremities,” with Farrah Fawcett and Alfre Woodard, and “Nomads,” starring Pierce Brosnan and Lesley-Anne Down.
