2 Cosmonauts Aloft Hit A-Tests

MOSCOW — Two cosmonauts on the new Mir space station said today that the United States should halt nuclear tests, and they told the world that they are not involved in military research.
In a half-hour hookup with the Soviet mission control center near Moscow, cosmonauts Leonid Kizim and Vladimir Solovev answered questions selected from those submitted by Soviet and foreign journalists. The Soviets billed the session as their first international news conference from space.
