Connecticut Man, 38, Found Slain in Motel
San Diego police are investigating the slaying of a 38-year-old Connecticut man whose body was found early Sunday in a room at the Pacific Beach Motel.
The victim was identified at Jack Frederick Meltzer, of New Haven, Conn. Meltzer had been staying in the area for about a month while seeking work, according to police.
He was believed to have died from a gunshot wound to the chest, police said.
