R. L. Kirkland New Leader of Realty Board
R. L. Kirkland, of Cartier Realtors in Fountain Valley, is the new president of the 2,000-member Huntington Beach/Fountain Valley Board of Realtors. He has been a member of the board since 1979, and was honored as 1985 Realtor of the Year.
Other new officers include Lila Nowell, Executive Homes, Huntington Beach, first vice president; Jan Shomaker, Jan Shomaker Realty, of Huntington Beach, second vice president and chairman; Beth Duncombe, ERA-Star Real Estate Center, Fountain Valley, secretary-treasurer.
Directors are past president, Kent M. Pierce, Coats & Wallace, Huntington Beach; Jim Righeimer, ERA-Rafferty & Lloyd, Fountain Valley; Larry Gage, ERA-Star Real Estate Center, Fountain Valley; Maggie Shaffer, Real Estate by McVay-Warner, Huntington Beach, and Frank C. Horzewski, New Dimensions Properties, Fountain Valley.
